Bro. Dr. Chukwuma Obi, Pharm. D.
Bro. Dr. Chukwuma Obi, Pharm. D., attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston, Massachusetts. In the fall of 2003, Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. via Beta Alpha Chapter. While in school he was a member of the pharmacy leadership organization, Phi Lambda Sigma and was also elected President of the American Pharmacist Association Academy of Student Pharmacist. Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008.
Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., pharmacy career and leadership experience continued to grow after graduation when he became a pharmacy manager in retail operations in Boston. In 2012 he relocated to Maryland and expanded upon his pharmacy leadership by further overseeing pharmacy retail operations. Recently, Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., was appointed as the regional pharmacist immunization lead in which he promoted and organized dozens of vaccination clinics in the DC/Maryland area. He is currently appointed as a lead for overseeing COVID vaccination distribution and administration within the Baltimore area.
In his 18 years of membership in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., has seen Beta Alpha Chapter grow in number as well as having an increased presence in his around the Boston area. Consistent with the Fraternity’s motto: “Culture for Service, Service for Humanity,” Bro. Dr. Obi, Pharm. D., strives to be a role model for his fellow brothers, mentoring the youth of the community to be committed to community service.
