Bro. Devon Henry
Bro. Devon Henry is a successful entrepreneur, managing a portfolio of companies in construction and logistics. With over 20 years leading, building and financing organizations, he has built numerous businesses both organically and through M&A. Bro. Henry is currently the CEO & President of Team Henry Enterprises, LLC, a nationally recognized contracting enterprise within the Mid- Atlantic and Southeast territory headquartered in Richmond, VA. Team Henry’s most impactful projects to date include the emergency response efforts of Hurricane Irene, Irma, and Sandy, the construction of UVA’s Memorial to Enslaved Labor, and meaningful recognition of the enslaved labor that built the University of Virginia. Most recently the company removed the Confederate Statues in the City of Richmond, which has been widely publicized as a project that everyone refused to perform and led to death threats to Bro. Henry and his family. Bro. Henry served as the Eastern Regional Director of Phi Peta Sigma from 2014 – 2018 where he was professionally and Fraternally involved with the Brothers of Beta Alpha and Omicron Chi Sigma. Highlights of his tenure include chartering a new chapter on the continent of Africa in Ghana’s capital city, Accra.
The Metropolitan Business League recently named Bro. Henry the 2020 Master Entrepreneur of the Year. Previous awards and recognitions include:

· 2013, Bro. Henry was the recipient of the prestigious American Express Government Contractor of the Year Award
2014, Bro. Henry was recognized by the Richmond District of the U.S. Small Business Administration as the “Small Business Person” of the Year.
· 2015, The Carolina-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council recognized Team Henry as their Supplier of Year
· 2015, The National Minority Supplier Development Council naming Team Henry as the Southern Region’s Supplier of the Year Recipient.
Bro. Henry is also a seasoned board member in both the not for profit and corporate sectors, serving on several boards and committees to include the Board of Directors for Village Bank and Trust Financial Corp (NASDAQ: VBFC), Norfolk State University - HBCU (Gubernatorial appointee), Bon Secours Mercy Health Foundation, Virginia March of Dimes (Past Chairman), Metropolitan Business League (Past Chairman) and Young President's Organization (YPO).
Bro. Henry received his BS in Biology from Norfolk State University, where he created an endowment to provide scholarships to Virginia high school students planning to attend NSU and major in a STEM-related focus, he received his MS in Environmental Management from The University of Maryland. In addition, Bro. Henry has received Executive Education from The University of Richmond, Robbins School of Business, Tuck Business School at Dartmouth, and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. Bro. Henry was a graduate of General Electric’s coveted Corporate Leadership Program.
Bro. Henry was initiated into the Delta Zeta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc in the Spring of 1998.
