Bro. Ethan Howe
Brother Ethan Howe is a second-year student at Northeastern University, studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. In Fall 2020, Bro. Howe was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., via Beta Alpha Chapter. He currently serves as the chapter Treasurer. This is the reason Bro. Howe chose Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.:
Being a legacy, I knew about the organization from my father, as he was already a Brother. However, he only gave me an introduction to it, and wanted me to find out more on my own. When I got to college, I met Bros. Luis, David, and Kyumon, and seeing how they carried themselves encouraged me to look into the organization. As I learned more about the organization, I began to see why my dad, as well as everyone else, felt so passionate about this Fraternity. Through my research, I was able to connect what I learned to my personal life, and how I carry myself. Between the Brothers I had met along the way, and the principals associated with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., I realized that this organization was right for me.
Since arriving at Northeastern, Bro. Howe has been active on his campus. Thus far, he has performed community service at The Clubhouse Network, served on the E-board for the Northeastern Black Student Association, and had been involved in both the Black Engineering Student Society (BESS) and Fellowship and Manhood (FAM).
