1619 Project : Anti-Voter-Suppresion! In partnership with The Urban League of MA

After a summer of unrest, of citizens marching and protesting for the right to equal access to the justice and democratic protections promised by the United States of America’s Constitution, it is clear that unlike never before, that elections matter. At odds are progress towards a more perfect union and the historical status quo of this nation. The status quo by definition resists evolution. Practically speaking, this resistance takes the form of both grass-tops strategies, like lobbying and voter roll purges, and a large number of grassroots voter suppression tactics.

Understanding the on-the-ground methods by which anti-democratic forces operate to suppress voting rights in historically disenfranchised communities, Beta Alpha through the expertise provided by its implementer, Solomon Group, LLC and its legion of inspired collegiate anti-voter-suppression activists, who are recruited and trained by the undergraduate Chapters of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., has designed a multi-tiered operation for helping to protect the vote in Massachusetts.
