Bro. Jasmeial “Jazz” Jackson
Dr. Jasmeial “Jazz” Jackson was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma, Inc. in the Omicron Chi Sigma Alumni Chapter of Suffolk County Spring 2020. He started his career as the Dean of Business and Technology at Beckfield College. He then proceeded as the Associate Dean of First-Year Experience, Retention, and Special Programs at Southern New Hampshire University. Dr. Jackson has recently been appointed as the Chief Student Success Officer at Thomas Edison State University. He will serve as a collaborative partner with every institutional division and oversee advising, military student services, academic support, student success initiatives, and the online accessibility center. He will be responsible for ensuring a holistic, equitable, intentional student experience that equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to transition to college and successfully achieve their academic goals. He continues to support the development and empowerment of people as the Secretary/Executive Assistant for the New England State Leadership Team of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., as a professor at Southern New Hampshire University and the University of Arizona Global Campus, as a mentor at Northeastern University, and as a Big Brother of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manchester, New Hampshire. During his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sightseeing, reading, and being actively involved with community organizations.
